Explore Tech Traveling Exhibit

The South Trail branch of the Orange County Library System will be hosting the traveling exhibit "Explore Tech: Engineers Make a World of Difference." The exhibit will be at South Trail from November 2, 2016 - January 6, 2017. South Trail was one of 14 libraries selected to host this traveling exhibit. In partnership with the National Center for Interactive Learning (NCIL) at the Space Science Institute (SCI), the Lunar & Planetary Institute (LPI), and the Afterschool Alliance, the American Library Association Public Programs Office this exhibit is awarded to groups underrepresented in STEM fields. This exhibit shows how engineering provides solutions to better meet human needs and develops sustainable innovations for the future, and how engineers create new technologies to solve problems. This exhibit contains three areas: A. Engineering: Past, Present, and Future, B. High Tech/Low Tech, and C. Power Up! Creating a Sustainable Energy Future.
