It's Sew Easy Camp (11-17) - Tote Bags

Take the fashion world by storm! We will teach you everything you need to know to start sewing like a pro. Learn to sew your own tote bag from start to finish using professional patterns, fabric of your choice and professional sewing machines in this 5-day camp. Each session will be 2 hours. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes to this camp. Supported by the City of Orlando Mayor's Matching Grant. Project: Tote Bags Day 1: Sewing safety and using the sewing machine. Day 2: Fabric and reading a professional pattern. Day 3: Sewing seams of tote bags. Day 4: Finishing raw edges for a professional look. Day 5: Embellishing your totes with bling. Registration is required with a Library card in good standing. Seats are limited, so register today!
